My Guide to Volunteering Your Time
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010Volunteering; a bridge to a stronger community, and supporting your local needy. Traditionally, however, arranging to be free to volunteer can waste very time that could really be put to so much better use elsewhere. And don’t you agree that with your friends from work working alongside you, you’d all have a better time while volunteering? Companies like Adaptive Marketing LLC, a firm from Connecticut that innovated programs like 24Protect Plus that bring value to customers, are making themselves organizing points enabling their employees to find the time to pitch in. Fortunately, company-supported volunteer work has developed beyond annual charitable giving. To go back to our earlier example, Adaptive Marketing has offered staff opportunities to take part in everything from tennis shoe recycling campaigns to tree-planting events. For these events, the times, locations and dates that had been arranged were announced, which made it easy for staff to know what to expect, and how much time a given event might realistically require.
It’s important to let volunteers back activities in line with their own preferences. At Adaptive Marketing, the firm bringing you 24Protect Plus, members of staff have the chance to choose from a diverse list of events. When looking for things to do you see so many, after all; working with children and young adults, assisting with environmental programs, or improving the area’s look through arts and culture to list a few that have already been tried. A volunteer who enjoys himself is an effective volunteer, so through offering so many projects Adaptive Marketing ensure that progress will be made in as many projects as possible. If businesses urge employees help at a local school, it tends to be for an individual event or a regularly scheduled undertaking. Staff members may well claim - and honestly be convinced themselves - that they have no time to give, though one would be surprised if they genuinely cannot free up the resources to lend a hand with one instalment of a more involved project. It’s hardly a new practice for firms to help out the community which they serve. Adaptive Marketing like many other businesses sponsors volunteer activities to support the people of its hometown and to generate goodwill within the local community through its members of staff actions. The simple fact is, the benefits of helping others include the knowledge that you’ve done something good and worthwhile - a positive feeling that enriches the entire business. By now, we think, the rewards of a company sponsored volunteer program for everyone involved are are quite clear for everyone.

The Incredible Accomplishments of Nicholas Bredimus
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010Ever taken note of how so many developments in computing have completely redesigned hospitality and air travel as we used to know them recently? Most responsible is New Jersey native Mr Nicholas Bredimus. His career highlights include time-saving software, air safety developments, and even the design of upmarket homes. No matter what he turns to, you can bet he will direct his full passion to it. His family history can tell you all you need to know concerning his talents and the tremendous amount he has achieved. Drawn together from a true melting pot, his clan traces to ancient times, with the maternal line originating out of Scotland and Germany. His father’s family, on the other side, originates in England and Luxembourg, which is where they subsequently came to America from in the late nineteenth century. This determined drive still served them well on arrival. Nicholas, as well as his four sisters and two brothers, was born to a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a practicing nurse. He went on to make his home in Texas for a while as well as in Scottsdale, AZ, Reston, VA and Kansas City, MO. After the completion of his schooling, he would sign up for a few respected roles at many of the most distinguished and most important airlines. Nicholas became a Vice President with corporations like Republic Airlines, Hughes Airwest, and Trans World Airlines (TWA) respectively. Even taking all this into account, however, the airline industry has had reason to be thankful even more for the work he has conducted in software design. He is most recognized for a project for US Airways, his aircraft maintenance programs that come into use by the majority of airlines. He went on to program several other computerized solutions for the airline and hotel sector in addition, among them unmanned software to take and record airline reservations, now in use at more than fifty firms, and his innovative desktop computer based room booking system used by the hotel industry, which was first installed at over seven hundred locations. He went on to develop system called QuikTix, an electronic ticket ordering network. He employed these successes to advance into positions less connected to software development. In his own firm, overseeing IT for American Express, and as the founding president of AMR Travel Services his record is absolutely remarkable.
And is he still working? Of course — his intelligence is still highly ready to answer the call no matter his leaving former interests in the past. But to address the most obvious question, he designs and builds luxury class houses featuring many of the cutting edge eco technology currently available.

Everything You’ll Need to Know re Mr Nicholas Bredimus
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010The revolution in air travel and hospitality was kicked off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who introduced them to the programming industry to evolve something new. His resume covers effort-saving computer software, aircraft safety advancements, and he’s even involved in designing upmarket homes.
It could be anticipated, mind you, that given his family history he was certain to rise to prominence. Drawing elements together from many nationalities, his kindred can be traced to the time of ancient Rome, with his mother’s side based in Germany and Scotland. Luxembourg and England, meanwhile, provided the source for his father’s family, though during the 1800s they came to America. And after arrival in America, they retained their drive and determination to go far. Born one of seven siblings — four girls and three boys — Nicholas had a father working as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. He would spend for many years in homes across four states; Arizona, Texas, Missouri and Virginia. Nicholas has worked in respected posts at firms throughout the airline industry — the majority of them distinguished names. These included the Vice Presidential position for Republic Airlines, Hughes Airwest, and even Trans World Airlines (TWA). Most noteworthy, though, is his prowess as an inventive software architect working with the airline industry. Nicholas is probably most acclaimed for a US Airways project, crafting airplane management computer programs, which eventually evolved into the “old reliable” for airplane upkeep. He turned his focus next to making and recording bookings. For both hotels and air travel he designed software to offload the majority of the work that had been involved prior to this approach. For an encore would come QuikTix, an automated, networked approach to selling tickets that was an industry first. He has taken on quite a number of capacities entirely outside of software development, keep in mind. Major roles with American Airlines and American Express followed, and of course he founded a business of his own in the early 1990s.
Though he has withdrawn from the businesses that first gave him fortune, his skills are, regardless, still very much in use. His involvement now is with the architectural concerns tied to the evolution of environmentally neutral, high tech luxurious condos.

What You Need to Know Concerning Henry Kravis of Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. And the Environmental Defense Fund
Monday, December 28th, 2009Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co (KKR) was established by Henry Kravis and George Roberts in the 70’s with some assistance from the First Chicago Corporation. More recently hoping to make the companies in their portfolio more ecologically aware and more profitable to boot, they have launched a novel enterprise which has dramatically changed the way businesses and environmental activists function. Environmentally aware business processes went mainstream in 2008 when KKR’s Henry Kravis and the non-profit Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) joined forces. Their company mission is to encourage businesses in avoiding environmental threats like greenhouse gas emissions not to forget any steep water consumption. To accomplish these goals, they deploy a technique called eco-efficiency; this involves techniques like increasing the durability of products, fuel economy, and using clean energy. Effective though it was the KKR and EDF did not realize the scope of the benefits of the project until the executive responsible for the project, Ken Mehlman, studied the project when it had been in operation for its first year. Surpassing everybody’s expectations, Ken saw that eco-efficiency not only assisted in preserving the local environment, but also increased the profitability of every business as well. Nearly all of the businesses affiliated to KKR and Ken Mehlman now are actively engaged in eco-efficiency. Seeing that this group of companies has a net worth of $86 billion, you can see what an enormous achievement this is. These two organizations alongside Ken Mehlman have also developed the Green Portfolio project. The Climate Corps Program administered by the EDF is an example of this, it promotes planet friendly business techniques to MBA interns.
KKR and Ken Mehlman have made the effort to formulate analytic tools which will be able to administer resources. These systems let any company see how environmentally friendly they are and identify any areas which may need improving.

Henry Kravis, the KKR, and the Environmental Defense Fund are genuine groundbreakers in the world of green business. In summary, the work of these organizations has made green business techniques not only viable, but commercially desirable, and their novel ideas are setting a new standard in today’s world.
On Real Estate and Private Equity
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009
Ownership interests that are not included in public exchange are considered as private equities. In the domain of company securities, real estate are considered as private equities that can be utilized in any marketing plan a company is following. In this sense, real estate becomes a company’s asset.
As a private equity, companies with intent to gain possession of real estate can acquire them through private transactions. A company can use real estate as a private equity investment through the following:
Real estate development - companies improve land by adding facilities and buildings
Real estate investing - companies manage the investment of a real estate to gain significant profit
Corporate real estate - corporations manage real estate to support their core businesses, rather than generate income.
In real estate development, a corporation acquires raw, undeveloped land. Facilities like roads, buildings, and other initial core structures are then eventually constructed, increasing the real estate’s value. At an opportune time, the corporation can sell the land for gain.
Real estate investment is a private equity business strategy where corporations purchase real estate property for profit. Properties acquired may already have facilities and buildings that the corporations can use for gain.
Another private equity strategy involving real estate is corporate real estate. In this strategy, a corporation acquires and improves real estate properties not to produce income but as a means of expanding or improving the efficiency of their operations. Examples are back offices, company warehouses, and airstrips.

Scum Bags On the Internet Who Attack Good Ideas
Thursday, December 18th, 2008In running an online think tank I have noticed that many people come and go who are only interested in attacking ideas or individuals in a combative way. This happens on Blogs, Internet Forums and many other online communication communities. Why does this happen?
Recently in an online think tank such a combative chap came to criticize many ideas. One of the ideas was a stationary bicycle, which could also charge the spacecraft, ISS or Lunar Colony battery systems. He indicated that this was an ridiculous idea and stated;
“If this truly is a “think tank”, then you must expect some reality to permeate it. Otherwise it’s just a collection of delusions. Reality is reality, and all the happy thoughts in the world won’t change it.”
Of course the idea originator had something to say about that comment indeed; First, I can back up every single one of my ideas, concepts and designs. Two, Your reality is not the reality, but rather a perception based viewpoint you give out before considering all the possibilities. Three, there is also a created reality and reality is a moving target. Four, the naysayers said the same thing about the first propeller powered balloons. Five, the Wright Brothers were bicycle mechanics so it is tradition.
So, all of your points have been defeated you have failed to shoot down this idea and wasted both our times. That is not thinking. You have learned a valuable lesson, one I should not have to give to you considering your demeaning comment. You are not owed an explanation when you attack with baseless arguments and are too self-ashamed to use your true identity. Not to mention you are annoying and what you are doing is actually illegal.

So, use your real name and that might get us closer to a reality of your intentions. The Electric Generation Stationary fold-up bike concept for Space Flight Stands; it is a good idea and I would put one in my own spaceship, SpaceHab Capsule, Orbiting lab or small lunar or Mars colony, because it makes sense. Additionally I think I’ll make one and put it in my motor home too.
Okay you want redemption? I tell you what post two original ideas in any category here on this website. One to indicate you are actually a thinker and two as an apology for this comment: “Reality rears its ugly head again, spewing red-hot truth to vaporize the delusions of fools.” For calling me a fool. Obviously I can take it and back up every word. But some folks might feel slighted by such comments and you would have hurt their motivation to participate. I speak for them. Think on this.
